Do not twist my words

Give an example where I have "twisted your words", or stop whining like this when I run circles around you in this debate :-)

The only TRULY legitimate government is one that possesses a mechanism for being accountable to its citizens.

Hello??? Is anyone there???

Hawk - Stop and listen for one minute. You are saying the same thing as the above sentence in the past two days or so, and I am saying that is NOT A UNIVERSAL DEFINITION OF LEGITIMATE GOVERNMENT. It may be how you guys define "legitimate government" in the US of A, based on your own constitution, but it is NOT something you can judge governments in other countries.

Do you understand me? Give me a sign that you do.

You'll never be part of the "power elite" in Monaco, unless you marry into it.

Thanks for your concern. However, you are wrong.

(As a rule of thumb, I advise you not to pass judgement on places you have never been to, your opinion on which are based on rumours, half-truths, and preconceived opinions of what you believe are similar establishments.)

For your information, the "power elite" of Monaco are the very rich and affluent, like anywhere else. So you see, if I were aspiring to be among the "power elite", I would just have to make a killing, have a billion or two. That's all. Just like in your good old USA :-)

And if Saddam is a legitimate government, then the decision to invade Kuwait is a responsibility borne by all of the Iraqi people

Just like if Blair's government is a legitimate one, than the decision to invade Iraq must be a responsibility borne by all of the British people? No doubt you see where this is going...

(Hint: More than 80% British do not want the war. )
