Blix hails 'real disarmament' in Iraq move By Niko Price

I really appreciate Blix's efforts, and in spite of my early feelings, I think is has, for the most part, been reasonable all along.

But we [America] would have to be total idiots to fall for this ploy -- wherein Saddam destroys a few missles and thus is deemed to be "disarming".

What about the fact that Saddam hasn't made a disclosure? Blix himself has said disclosure is essential (and all past weapons inspsectors have said inspections absolutely WILL NOT WORK without a full, detail disclosure). What about the fact that Saddam has a long (12 years) history of such brinksmanship.

This "real disarmament" is a ploy and a sham. And is all the more reason we must remove Saddam by force.

It is not even worthy of consideration.
