AMSC, very significant news,will watch this one closer 07:34 ET AMSC Am Superconductor receives $70 mln, multi-yr order from Navy (3.23) Co selected by the U.S. Navy's Office of Naval Research as prime contractor to lead a team in designing and building a prototype 36.5 megawatt high temperature superconductor propulsion motor for electric warships. The contract, which will be funded over 37 months, is the largest single contract in the company's history.
