MigraTEC Selected by Fortune 500 Company to Migrate Communications Application
March 03, 2003 11:10:00 AM ET

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 3, 2003--MigraTEC MIGR, a leading provider of OS/2 to Windows(R) application migration services, has been selected by a Fortune 500 company to perform the migration of a vital communications application.

The company will migrate the mission-critical application from OS/2 to the industry standard Microsoft(R) Windows platform. The contract is expected to generate between $650,000 and $750,000 in revenue for MigraTEC and will be completed shortly after mid-year.

MigraTEC has more than a decade of experience in OS/2 to Windows migration projects. The company's automated migration technology allows companies to perform migrations in a more predictable, faster and less expensive manner than manual coding.

"In the next two to three years, government agencies and corporations running applications on OS/2 will migrate their critical applications to industry standard operating environments to reduce costs and improve performance," said Wes Blair, senior vice president, MigraTEC. "MigraTEC addresses this need by offering predictable and efficient OS/2 migration services supported by patented migration technologies."
