Yes, you are right, the crusade against smoking has not gotten far in France. However, during the day, I did not encounter a lot of people smoking heavily, and at night, we usually ate al fresca, so the breeze carried the smoke away. I had my teenage son with me, and full days for sight seeing, so we did not sit up late to drink. A lot of Parisians seem to smoke American cigarettes, I will say. My wife smoked your brand for awhile, years ago. Very feminine, very elegant......
