I guess it's pointless to remind you all that this is likely to change the political landscape for Europe and the world for many years to come. If the US war remains unpopular, there are likely to be many Shroeders around the world coming to elected power on the strenght of US opposition. You are extremely naive. The war is "unpopular" only until it begins. Within a few weeks, war supporters will be as ubiquitous as Woodstock attendees -- you won't be able to find an opponent anywhere. How are YOU going to defend your position when the freed Iraqi people are dancing in the streets with pro-Bush banners? Are you STILL going to be saying we shouldn't have done it?
