A couple of months ago, Saddam invited the United States to send the CIA into his country to find whatever it thought it could find. As far as I know, that offer wasn't accepted by the US.

Anyone know anything more on this?

An Iraqi general was on television yesterday, saying he'd seen on American television news report about a new bomb the US has developed, one capable of going very deep into bunkers in order to take out weapons of mass destruction. The general rightly pointed out that bombs like that must cost a lot of money. He further stated that waging a war costs a lot of money. He then asked why would the taxpayers want to pay all of that money when all the US has to do is give the coordinates, of where they wish to drop this bomb, to the UN inspectors and let them go get what the US says its bomb will do.

The two examples above gotta tell us something, don't you think?
