One of my neighbors was telling me how their church was getting together to pray at 3:03pm today 3/3/3, for the purpose of not going to war. Trinity, et al. I gather there are a number of groups holding hands at that time. Day of Prayer and Fasting for Life and Peace on Symbolic 3/3/03 Also: Pope Declares Ash Wednesday a Day of Prayer and Fasting for Peace catholicexchange.com Many people are calling for a Day of Prayer and Fasting on March 3, 2003. The date is very symbolic as it is the third day of the third month of the third year of the third millennium. These “3’s” remind us of the three persons of the Blessed Trinity – three equal divine persons in one divine nature. This convergence of the number three won’t happen again for another thousand years. Jesus Christ, one of those divine persons, became man, shared our human nature and died on the cross to save us from our sins for eternal life with him at 3 pm, the Hour of Mercy. Please join fellow Catholics worldwide in praying and fasting for life, peace and protection on March 3, 2003, and reciting the Chaplet of Mercy and the prayer below at 3 pm.
