Pardon moi? I seem to remember a Republican Congress that did that to Clinton. And every leftie in the land was screaming bloody murder about how irresponsible and damaging to the country that was.

So what's the difference, precisely?

Precisely that now the President is a Republican and not a Democrat?

So all the blather about not sacrificing the country on the altar of partisan politics was just that- -blather?
