Fred Thompson is a GOP politician and a bit actor in his spare time. He's hardly a Hollywood guy. Of course he's going to defend Bush. But 95% of people in the entertainment business do not like Bush. As well as the majority of well-educated people. Joe Sixpack supports Bush for now, but wait until he realizes how badly his economic future has disintegrated during the Bush years. He wont be backing Bush anymore. At least reagan brought some prosperity. Bush has brought complete economic malaise. Doesn't deserve to be re-elected or given a mandate on anything.
