I'm not arguing that sharing one's political views makes one a good teacher. I'm simply arguing that sharing one's political views should not only be permitted but encouraged. Politics for some teachers is similar to a religious calling. I wonder if you would have the same view of the issue if teachers were proselytizing? Many schools are teaching nothing more then a clandestine version of religious pantheism. And kids are being proselytized to every day, cloaked in the language of 'Green politics'. ;) Nuff said on this OT...<vbg>
