Del, the NV project is solar thermal from Duke Solar, not affiliated with Duke Energy BTW, and they use solar troughs
that rotate with the sun's transit to concentrate the heat
towards a liquid-filled tube that then is used to drive a turbine that generates electricity. Duke will be building a hybrid solar thermal/natural gas turbine plant in Nevada to give power regardless of weather conditions.
