The guest explained that Turkey got economically clobbered in the last war '91. That was the reason we were offering the "Big Bucks," C. I think the real problem is that the new people in office are not as 'Pro-America" as the Military and the last bunch. That is to be expected. The secret to shutting up a lot of the Arabs, plus the world wide opposition, will be the results. If we come out of Iraq without seizing the Oil Fields, etc, and all the other things we are being accused of, it will make it easier to sell out point of view to the world. The role that Foreign Media is playing in making us look bad is wayyyy underestimated in this country, IMO. We can talk to the cows come home, but results are the key. Until then, "Forgedddaboutit."
