Jim, When you did the financial review did you just do it "cash on cash" or did you also consider the tax savings? IMO the fact that you can write off ~80% of the drilling costs seems like it would tilt the numbers in your favor as long as you eventually got your money back on a cash-on-cash basis.

Also, for tax purposes you get more depletion deductions that your cost in some cases, at least you used to. Its been awhile since I looked into this.
