I saw George Shultz on CNN last night. He was very diplomatically trashing the UN which has not 'acquitted itself well' in this crisis. Shaking his head, he said "Why on earth should the US be asking Angola, who will contribute nothing and has nothing at stake, for permission to defend it's security. Give me a break". Give me a break, indeed. Paul
