Yeah, I saw your disclosure. Now you are saying that (all) options are dangerous, which I believe, but before you singled out long options and that was interesting to me. That is why I asked about short options (I assumed selling a call was the "short" version of buying a put).

By reiterating your position, do you mean to imply that buying puts are better than selling calls when you expect a stock to go down because that is what you did?
