North Korea is tricky and Bush has gotten us in deep mud there. NK was contained, yes with some freebies went along, although Clinton once considered bombing their reactor. The problem is millions of SK's and 35,000 American troops within NK artillery range. And they have a LOT of artillery. Our only military option could spark an all out war which could wipe out half of Korea, north and south. Now you tell me if Bush's idea for provoking NK was a good idea. I'd rather sent them food in exchange for inspections and gradual infiltration of their society with capitalist goods and ideas. As in China, that strategy works. We should be doing the same thing in Cuba. But NK needs Bush's attention now, far more than Iraq does.
