Actual ww SIA chip sales are here home.attbi.com " Great. Doesn't change the point that there is no statistical significance to the odd/even year up/down correlation. For the chip sales chart, Odd years: 3 up, 1 down Even years: 2 up, 2 down Anyone who thinks this is statistically significant needs some very basic training in statistics. (I would suggest experiments with coin flips, with runs of random digits, and for the more studious, calculations of the Poisson distribution, tests of statistical significance, the null hypothesis and how to accept or reject it, and so on.) --Tim May
