I will also add that if we try to take over saudi oil fields, and mecca as some have suggested ,we would find the whole middle east and muslim world at not only our throats but also at the throats of any muslim leader that did not immidiatly declare jihad against america.I dout russia china and europe would show us much sympaty either.we may be militarily top dog,but there rest of the pack would be against us.if america wants a pan arab fundamentalist state, doing as you suggest is the best way to achive it.
