You're certainly right that the phrasing of the questions makes thing murky. I'm suggesting that the definition of "support" also makes things murky. Other than the permahawks, the crusaders, the partisans, the Kurds, a few idealists, and some expat Iraqis, I don't know who really wants a war. I don't believe for a moment that middle America does.
