here's the plan. if we can catch the passing of a cold
front we can ride beam reaches and tail winds for 48
hours. it'll take 60 to get to tampa (first landfall
300 nm) at hullspeed (which we probably won't get).
my guess is 3 and a half to 5 daze max.

after a daze layover in the tampa area, leg two to
naples is 120 nm (two daze max)

whether we pull in to marinas or anchorages depends
on how we're feelin' after the first leg - we're
leaving that part of the plan open.

making it clear to the keys or even around the corner
to miami will be up to the weather, the equipment and
the desire and stamina of the crew.
