Bush should never have gone to the UN...

1.The British and French didn't in 1956 (Suez Crisis)
2. Britain didn't with the Falklands
3. China didn't with Cambodia
4. France didn't with The Ivory Coast (their troops are there now)
5.Reagan didn't with Grenada
6. Russia didn't with Afghanistan
7. etc.
What I don't like about Bushism is its arrogance; its disregard of its razor thin mandate; and its willingness to gamble away all of the goodwill America has built up over the last 50 years and push the country into massive debt for the foreseeable future. All this from a man who did not win the popular vote and whose victory still raises questions. Too bad the US constitution does not allow for national referendums on critical issues... but there is still impeachment.
The fact that the UN has been dragged into this has made a bad situation a lot worse...and it shows how incompetent this administration is. A quick strategic strike 6 months ago to grab Saddam (a la the Noriega operation) would have saved the world more than we can measure.
