Hi LindyBill; Re: "The secret to shutting up a lot of the Arabs, plus the world wide opposition, will be the results."

So far, the Bush administration's results on this fiasco have been horrible. They failed to convince NATO that a war was necessary. They failed to convince Turkey to allow our troops. So far Saudi Arabia and Egypt are still against it. Russia and France are fighting over the privilege of vetoing any resolution we can come up with, which can't get the 9 votes needed anyway. When France talked about continuing inspections at the UN they were applauded, which is supposedly quite rare at the UN.

Maybe it will all work out in the end, but so far, it's not running very well at all. Given the record so far, why should we expect that the war and the occupation will go smoothly?
