G'day, Michael...
Yes, Joey's "option off props" biz model seems to be working well for DNT.V

Glad the edited version of Resource World article worked for you.

RE: Catherine McLeod's approved list of explo-geologists...only two ways I know of is pouring through old issues of Northern Miner ...or the patented B&E method of "acquiring info."<g>

Yes, Rubicon is a neighbor...but obviously without a photogenic CEO which garners column inches and ink.

I have a Newfie gold specimen dealer (found him on the net in a prospector chatroom several years back)...with whom I've done gold specimen business for several years. He's got a "cute" operation...a small trailer with jaw crusher he drags up the ravine behind his 4-wheel...sets charge, scoops into piles, and sorts with metal detector...sells fingernail size pcs with ONE gold showing speck...US$3 per...not bad work if one can get it... 90 miles of claims which have been in his family a long time...all shallow stuff with probably most interesting gold occurences below...

I upped the "saturation" to enhance the glow of the gold occurences in the following .jpg of Alan holding a mess of specimens in one hand and his digital camera with the other.

eoni.com

I've emailed and asked Alan some time back if anyone had approached him as head of his own family Geo/Explo outfit and got a "nyet."...I'll go rustle him up again, and see if he's got anything new to report. If Iearn anything, I'll report back and post it here.

RE: your PostScript: thanks...a'yup...more than costume jewelry to be found in above ground discarded gold applications, worthy of "acquiring and liberating." Thrift Store is just ONE place to look. Turns out eBay is another, and one doesn't even have to spend gas nor leave home acc'd to my inbox.

Gold is where you find it, Michael. Glad you liked the true stories on the company website. I'll tell Nancy who runs that site.
