I compared the two online today. They look similar in configuration but very dissimilar in price. The newer model had a 15.4 screen (and about $800 more price) as compared to a 15 screen on the 8200. The 8200 also looked to have a price decrease of about $500 since two weeks ago. A loaded (read functional for me)system that was pricing out at $2800 could be had for $2300 today. So I had one finally....
