Jim, my point is that there is an element of risk in any investment, which is why I suggested reading the Parable of the Talents. (Ecclesiastes is also a good book to read if you want a better perspective on wealth, or life in general.) The real investors in this society are the buyers-n-holders, not the Johnny-come-lately's (myself included). To call "buy-n-hold" a lie is to demolish a fundamental tenet of capitalism. You might as well go join up with the anti-capitalists out there. They're not too hard to find; most of them are holding "No Iraq War" signs these days ... <G> Tenchusatsu
