What am I talking about? What am I talking about? You have to go back and read the post I was responding to if you want to know.

In regards to evolution, Mr. Ibexx said chips are in a constant state of evolution. My response is that evolution does not travel in a straight line. In other words evolution may take a step back to a cheaper design with more video functions and then continue forward from there. You see this relates to set-top boxes which are designed by many companies beside NSM or Cyrix. If you don't think this is posible then you should study the history of Intel which always kept their price low and was able to survive while faster chips of other designs failed.
