My only point is we are not blameless. We did supply things that we shouldn't have and I accept that. But you're right with regard to time frame and relevancy to todays situation

well the $1.3Bil worth of military aid to Pakistan since 9/11 has produced some bright shining co-operation from out of that corner ....

hindsight is 20/20...re Iraq.

Yet in the future , that will be just as questionable a decision?

The emphasis now has to be on "disarming" people not arming them ...ie : IRaq.
