"acting in what they perceive as their own self-interest" Yes they are, but unfortunately they are also acting in Saddam´s self interest, and contrary to the interests of the Iraqi subjects. They have managed to align themselves in such a way as to support a murdering torturing regime while pretending to be doing it in the name of peace even to the extent of getting schoolchildren to skip school to go on marches. I hope Bush and Blair have the fortitude to go against public opinion if the public prove themselves naive enough to produce an anti war majority.
