Well I went to a lunch with my wife and all the friends she had in University, many years ago.

There was a guy from Cambodia that married one of here friends, and a guy from Togo that married another.

Discussing the Iraq situation we came to a mutual conclusion, an attack on Iraq by the US without full support would most likely increase the risk of terrorist attacks on the US exponentially.

Now the question that arised, was why is the US so concerned about Iraq, they have nothing in terms of weapons that could ever reach US soil.

Well I didn't know the answer to that until today. We got talking about it in the stockpit and the answer to the above question was to stop terrorists.

This is a stupid answer. If Iraq was loaded full of terrorists, after months and months of talk of war would they be sitting in Iraq waiting for a Tomahawk or whatever to come flying up their ass? No, if it was true, they'd be deployed all over the US and all over the world, waiting for instructions to strike.

Martyrs will add an incentive.

I think letting the UN continue to police Iraq is the best solution. Any terrorist attack on USA during the policing process that can be linked to Iraq could lead to retaliation with the world community behind it.

OK OK, I know, some people thinking that I think that 1000 Americans need to die in a terrorist attack before US takes action. But what's better? 100,000 dead Iraqi's in a war and 1000 US servicemen (these are more or less sure) or perhaps 1000 civilians? AND, if the attacks really piss off the terrorists, how many civilians, Iraqis and Service men will end up dead?

I'm listening to some crap radio show while I'm writing this, so I'm going off on a tangent from time to time. Talk Show America, talked about the bombing in Israel, guy said "So what, they are used to that, let's talk about the Phillippeans"

Someone obviously missing the point, if there is a point to a war.

It's been months that I never really had an opinion on the situation, but now I do, and I think a strike on Iraq without (I was going to say world support, but no) full Arab support would be a serious mistake with serious repercussions. JMO let the bashing begin.......

BTW, 5600 GRUB!!!!!!!
