<<One-day TRIN was distorted by the NYSE A/D ratio which was only 1-to-2.>>

This statement seems awful silly. It is akin to saying "The decline in sales of new cars were distorted by the fact that consumers purchased fewer cars".

The A/D ratio defines the TRIN statistic. Or at least 1/2 of it.

Nonetheless, I am out at the EOD with a modest gain off of a high percentage play.

But I have to admit that yesterday did not have the "feel" of a 3.75 TRIN day. There were times last year where enormous volumes in just a few issues (Enron, Tyco, WCOM, et. al.) would significantly distort market internal statistics. If there were a handful of issues that contributed to a bulk of the down volume yesterday, that would have contributed to the high TRIN. I guess this info can be found in the "Most Actives" list from yesterday.

I do not have this information currently at hand. To the newspaper Batman.
