Westerners saw all this happening, but have been largely inhibited in criticizing the inaction of Africans. Another example of Political Correctness, meaning the abdication of all standards, a confused ethical relativism that stops all useful action.


We agree on this issue 100%. BTW, I don't think the discussion of AIDS in Africa is OT at all. In the not too distant future African society will be hollowed out, just children and the elderly alive and healthy. This will certainly lead to chaos and large scale humanitarian disaster. However, it could lead to blowback just not unlike what happened as the Islamic world failed. The world is a giant system and everything is connected.
