PCSS,

FINALLY an article about HPQ WITH reasonable balance & sanity:

I find it unbased in fact.

H-P unfazed after earnings question
Stock shows slight gain after analysts voice concern

PALO ALTO, Calif. (CBS.MW) -- Hewlett-Packard shares inched upward Wednesday as investors seemed to hold little against H-P following a report that suggested the company engaged in some fuzzy math to boost the profit picture in its personal-computing business.

HP reported on the 25th, where it closed at just over 18. It's at 15.54 now, a loss of roughly 15% in a week. The stock closed the next day (Wednesday) not much lower than where it is now. Between now and then, it made a small dead-cat bounce, and is back near the low. 2 cents does not count as inching up, and being near the low doesn't count as inching up, either.

Or put another way, if it keeps inching up like it has in the last week, our investment in the company will be worth $0 in about another 3 months.
