I was referring to water skiing. Basically, I'm just a summer person. The heat doesn't bother me. Of around a hundred lakes in Texas only one is naturally occurring. The rest are manmade. Skiing newer lakes when they are low can be hazardous because of trees just below the surface. Newer lakes do though often have superior fishing because of the spawning habitat submerged trees create.
