SOme SUV's are modified assault vehicles!! THey are too big and like tanks on the road.

A few years ago we drove to San Diego in a Suburban. My husband pulled over and gave the wheel to me at the LA 405 at 4:00pm !!!!!! I hated the size of the car in that traffic and I had been used to driving a Honda. I pulled off the road at the junction with 5 and drove over to Capistrano just to get a "stress break"!!!.

A smaller car is probably not safer but sure does handle alot easier in that traffic. I"ll take a HOnda anyday over a big SUV. And than there's the Navigator and the Expeditions...........what pigs!! They are like driving an RV!! They should be banned from the roads!!

My favorite SUV is the Grand Cherokee...........it gets the job done without being so huge.

We only use the SUV's in the winter and only because we do drive in some harrowing snow conditions. You have never been in a snow storm until you are in a good ole Sierra blizzard white out. They measure the snow by the foot up at the Donner Summit...................I know why the Donner's got stuck there!!
