Scott, you said, "Again, all I can say is that I just can't get into this Preterism stuff."

I have bought Christian books and psychology and so on and could not get into them at the time because apparently my mindset was not ready for it. Then I have looked at them a second time months or years later and they fit right in with what I needed to know at that time. God never teaches you before you become willing to broach that particular subject. And God himself gives you the willingness to read it. Or so I have found to be true. To me, what is important is that you just always pray for growth and to let God decide what you see or don't see. The important thing is that you become willing to question a hand me down religion that you accepted as truth, causing your thinking about such things to refuse to look at new theories or doctrine because of the pre-conditioning of your mind by others.

Anyway, I noticed that you mentioned OKC. I live just west of OKC and Alan lives about 30 mi. SW of OKC. Getting some of the bible belt crowd in here.(Laugh) There are no Preterist churches in our area although there are a few in Oklahoma, I understand. I was dunked in the Babtist tradition and then again at Assembly of God. I think that God has led me down a more sure pathway then there traditions and doctrines. At least I think so. I have more understanding and the Old and New Testaments falls in place easier with the Preterist view. I have not studied diligently as I should but I know that we are in the Kingdom Age and God has fulfilled most if not all of prophesy. God still has a plan for us but it is certainly not the destruction of the Earth. God says that the world is without end.

Thanx,

James
