So, let me get this straight. As a conservative, you are a champion of censorship and banning FREE SPEECH in public venues like malls? You proudly cite a link to a ruling in which the Minnesota Civil Liberties Union lost a free speech case involving a mall? That's exactly, why I call myself a liberal. I want more FREE SPEECH. I want to see the Constitution and 1st Ammendment upheld. Screw the corporate mall owners and their $300 per hour attorneys. There is a principle here that trancends their bean counting business, FREE SPEECH and FREE EXPRESSION. I think it's a great idea to let people distribute literature at venues open to the public like malls, as long as they aren't disprutive. Yes, I think anti-abortion protestors, pro-war advocates, peace protesters, etc. should have a right to excercise their 1st Ammendment rights in a public formum like a mall. Of course, things like extremist groups on the left and right might be banned because their content is patently offensive. There should be some sort of limits. But, harassing someone for wearing a PEACE tee-shirt and eating at a mall is going way too far IMO.
