"Nobody wants to get short handed on another "Enron"." What hp did was reallocate 200 MM worth of expenses to a different cost center. What Enron and Citicorp did was hide from investors 15 BILLION dollars in debt and count the value of assets that were pledged for the loan as income. A lot of people who invest in stocks and a lot of posters to internet boards and a lot of advisors who tell people to invest in stocks don't understand the difference, accounting and fraudwise.
