saw interview on CNBC of Harvard Economics professor
Dale Something
bright sounding guy
except for his Keynesian blinders
and his absurd acceptance of national productivity data

doesnt anyone have the guts or sense to ask these economists why we multiply by 3-5 all capex equipment purchase figures in order to lift productivity from 2% to 5%

and why we shifted software over to capex, which thus allows an added multiplier by that same 3-5

Dale called the 2002 year "a remarkable increase in productivity"

interestingly, CNBC's Liesman countered him and asked
"so tell me why this hasnt translated into either job increases or profit increases?"

Dale replied with some confidence that fiscal stimulation will finish the job already started
what bullshit !!!

has this Harvard Professor ever heard of Kondratieff Winter ???
I think not

Liesman is emerging as a bright economics reporter
he is asking tough questions, and stumping his guests
the trouble is, his guests arent aware of their own ignorance,
nor of the fact that they are being embarrassed
