The question is, should the guards have taken any action? I do not mean this as a matter of legal right, I mean it as a matter of common sense and good conscience. If they should have left the guys alone, they are to blame for the disturbance, not the fellows with the t- shirts, or, in the alternative, their bosses, if they were carrying out policy.......
