Well, come on Bill. Let's be realistic about this. We don't supply weapons and satelite information to countries that we aren't allied with. And we were doing just that for Iraq in the 1980s in their war against Iran. Also, Iran was our enemy, and it turns out we were supplying them with weapons too, IRAN/CONTRA. We were playing both sides of the coin, because it suited our national interests to do so. Also, it was profitable to do so.

Don't be so naive about how the world really works. The U.S. government has been involved in dealings with many dubious regimes over the years. And, there's plenty that we don't learn about till years afterwards, or perhaps will never learn about, because the deals are carried out by black op agents like the CIA.
