Oh, quite. I don't expect anything to be solved until both deathmongers are removed... they're both apologists for murder, happy to see others die to satisfy their own egos.
The shame is that so many lives are wasted in the meantime, and so needlessly - and every one hardens up the opinions.

My solution, BTW... US tells Israel, "Pull out - back to 1966 boundaries - or no more aid." and meanwhile lets the Palestinians know that if they venture anything further then they will be removed... perhaps to repopulate the crater formerly known as Baghdad, which has nice echoes of the Jewish exile in Babylon...
Jerusalem goes under UN law and control until both sides are ready to live peaceably. It worked in Berlin, after all.
But this does require that the US for once stands up to Israel and doesn't just give them everything they want (Israel's by far the biggest US aid recipient, even before direct military aid is included). I'd have thought they'd be pleased...
