Kerry is part-liberal and nothing wrong with that. He's a progressive centrist-liberal tough and smart on defense.
He's a major war hero and an expert in defense, intelligence and foreign policy issues.

McCain and Kerry are very close and it is possible but not probable they could run together. They differ on some social issues but they're a lot closer than you think on the big issues. For instance, McCain is a bigger environmentalist that he lets on. He co-sponsored a global warming bill with Lieberman which the Bushies swatted down thanks to their pollution lobby contributors. He also sponsored with Kerry the fuel efficiency bill which again Bush swatted down, being for more oil and more waste apparently.

McCain goes along with a lot of Bushie programs but sometimes holds his nose to do so. McCain has spoken out against the Bush tax cuts and is pissed as hell at Bush for scuttling his fuel efficiency bill with Kerry, and his trying to defeat his campaign finance reform bill in the courts, AFTER it passed.

McCain could be a wild card. Dont be surprised if they end up running together. And remember Kerry takes no PAC money so he's really his own man. Quite independent. He could run a bi-partisan ticket if he wants.
