One of the many big lies of Wall Street is that these CEO's and other execs have to be paid tens of millions in order to secure their services. There may be only one Warren Buffet, but there are many thousands who have the competence to run corporations.

Peter Lynch said something like, "Be sure to buy stock in a company that can be run by an idiot. Sooner or later it will be."
