Blaming intransigence of the French, Germans and Russians on Bush is simply dishonest.

A simple mental test:

If in x days, weeks, months years (you pick the measurement) Saddam has still not complied with 1441, will these parties authorize the use of force?

If one is honest, they must admit that the overwhelming odds are no they will not. They are protecting their assets. Not a whole lot different than their position when Saddam invaded Kuwait I might add. They opposed the use of force right up to the last minute.

As for the Turks, we did get agreement from the Turkish government for troops. The government put the bill before Parliament. Yes the Parliament voted it down, but there were more yes votes than no votes. A parliamentary maneuver prevented it, hardly cause to blame it on Bush.
