if there were such a thing as pure journalism, defined as a striving after total objectivity, left, no, I think it would be a bad thing.

But IMO there is not such a thing as pure journalism left. If it ever existed.

That being the case, might as well have the biases being overt, not covert, as long as they get the facts straight.
