I think it is where God is concerned.
Sorry, I don't buy that. When an evangelical dentist works on your teeth, he works on your teeth, not your soul. An evangelical baker turns out bread or cake just like anyone else. And an evangelical journalist gives you the who, what, when, and where of the drug bust just like anyone else. Now, if he's invited to be a panelist for a discussion, he will provide his particular spin on thing, but only in those situations when the editorial light is on. If a professional doesn't take care of business, he will not only be guilty of malpractice or at least incompetence, he would be sinning.
If I bought what you are saying, I would have to disqualify any evangelical from serving me out of fear of incompetence. |
