Yes, considering the "killer ap" to take over this market will probably be a garden variety PC integrated as a TV receiver, multimedia center, record/playback appliance as easy to use as a typical TV now.. I figure TIVO has maybe three years left for strong growth. Would really be surprised if MSFT does not make a major move in this area within the next couple years. The combination with HDTV technology makes it a natural... maybe even a TIVO buyout?
