If Bush and his team knows how to defend America, what they hell were they doing on 9/11? They sure weren't defending America. They had their chance to shine and they blew it. The military did not scramble jets to defend DC. Rumsfeld sat in his office and worked quietly. The head of the Joints Chiefs of Staff was in a meeting with Senator Max Cleland. President Bush was reading to school children. What a great response when the nation is under an unprecedented terrorist attack. Pretty lame, no matter what the Dems might have done to military budgets. Bush and his team dropped the ball on 9/11. With defenders like those, who needs enemies?
