American Spirit.....
Here's a nice piece which you can learn a lot from - ie. it's about the American Spirit (FREEDOM!!):
Dear List Subscriber,
There are a couple flavors of "freedom," or at least things people CALL freedom:
1) One is that of the runaway slave. He has escaped his "owner" for the time being, but must spend his life hiding, always afraid of being caught.
2) The other is that of a people who have expelled a tyrant from their lands. They can live open, honest, proud lives.
I don't know about you, but I'm not settling for flavor #1.
I continue to get e-mails from people, saying how they just got some IRS form letter demanding money, threatening nasty things, etc., and asking how they should proceed. Yes, there are some things to do that are better than others (but I'm not in the business of telling people what they are), but the overall attitude is a bit discouraging. It is the attitude of runaway slaves.
Of course, it is perfectly justified for a runaway slave to try to evade capture, and it is perfectly justifiable for each individual to try to avoid being robbed by the IRS of money they don't owe. But is that good enough? Is that the fight we should spend our lives on? Is THAT where our efforts should go, and what our goal should be? Should we each be hiding in a corner somewhere, hoping "massah" won't find us? Is that the best we can do?
One particularly horrible aspect of oppression is that it trains the spirit out of people. It doesn't just steal their labor; it steals their HEART. Many slaves, when freed, don't know what to DO with their freedom. (The Soviet Union is a good example, too.) When you've accepted that subservience is just how life is, you "forget" how to OWN YOURSELF. In short, you lose what it is that makes you human, and you degenerate into a mere beast of burden who exists to serve his owners.
If you don't yet understand the income tax deception, study. If you DO understand it, stop asking how to respond to IRS Letter XYZ, and start figuring out how YOU are going to TEAR THE FRAUD DOWN. Don't look for a good place to hide from "massah"; look for a stick to use to WHOOP MASSAH'S REAR END! (I had to keep it clean for mom. Hi, mom!)
When I look at the "tax honesty movement," I see a bunch of slave-mentality hiders. They want a lawsuit, or some plea to make to the next bureaucrat who harasses them. "Please, massah, tell me I'm free... if it's not too much trouble, massah." Why are you asking HIM? Where in history is there any indication that asking an oppressor to stop oppressing does any good? "Golly gee, the Tax Court said the 861 evidence was frivolous." No kidding. What ELSE would they say? "Gosh, guess we missed that... sorry about that."
Since I'm pure cracker/honky, it's politically incorrect for me to even mention slavery. Tough. But I'll let a former slave tell you the same thing:
"Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did, and it never will. Find out just what people will submit to, and you have found out the exact amount of injustice and wrong which will be imposed upon them, and these will continue till they have resisted with either words or blows, or with both. The limits of tyrants are prescribed by the endurance of those whom they suppress." - Frederick Douglas
If your goal is to hide, then I wish you luck, but your goal and mine have nothing in common. If your goal is REAL freedom, where there isn't anyone to hide FROM any more, then let's get to work. I know a whole lot of you are in this fight, and ready to rip this fraud out by the roots. And I know that lots of others want to wait around and see what OTHER people can accomplish.
Right now we have a chance to get a big "massah" out of our lives permanently. Are you willing to do what it takes to make it happen?
I'll talk to you all again in a week or so. Until then, live free or die.
Sincerely,
Larken Rose larken@taxableincome.net theft-by-deception.com
